Algorithmic Bioinformatics

The most computationally orientated area in bioinformatics is Algorithmic Bioinformatics. New algorithms and datastructures are developed and optimized (mostly written in C++) to tackle the vast amounts of sequencing data that are produced in wet-labs today.
