Admission

The SCAN MSc program is a highly competitve program taught entirely in English and therefore, a good command of the language, both written and spoken, is required as well as a Bachelor degree in a related field. 

 

Do you want to apply to our Master's program?

Our entry requirements are: 

  1. A completed Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, physics, biology, IT, both parts of the Certificate of Physician Exam (Ärztliche Prüfung) or equivalent.   2. You need to demonstrate proficiency in English (C1 level), e.g. TOEFL or IELTS test score. You don't need to prove your proficiency if you're a native speaker or if your Bachelor degree is from an institution with english as its official language of instruction. If you fullfill the requirements, you will be invited for an interview (for students not living in Germany, Skype interviews can be arranged). Interviews take place at the end of June/beginning of July. The decision about the successfull candidates is based on the final grade of the Bachelor's degree (GPA) and the performance in the interview.
